At The Mall With Tita Mama

The clinics of Bella's Pediatrician and her ENT is just beside  the mall that is why after  our monthly  appointment, we usually go to the mall to have lunch or do a little shopping. My sister who wants to be called Tita Mama is always accompanying us as a driver and most of the time looking after Bella while I was busy with some stuff.

Being a mom herself , my sister knows how to take care of Bella that is why I am confident to let her watch over her.  I am so blessed  to have  a loving and understanding sister who is always there every time I need her. Thanks so much sis for taking care our little angel!

Laughing at 3 Months

The joy of  being a mom is so profound. I think this is a  kind of gift that comes with motherhood. As a full time mom, one of my joys is seeing firsthand Bella's milestones. When she was about 3 months old, I noticed that Bella is already laughing. Not just smile but laugh especially when her Kuya Macky  is playing with her.

I got to witness almost all of her many firsts right before my very eyes. Those moments were  priceless and no amount of money could ever pay. I thank God for this and for the circumstances that led me to be a stay at home mom. Blessing is indeed in disguise.

Pink Guess Shirt

One of the best things about being a baby is receiving gifts from godmothers and godfathers.  Bella is one of the lucky babies to have received numerous gifts during her baptism last December. Her Ninong JN has given her this Pink Guess Shirt as a gift.

Awake at 3 AM

 As a first time mom I find it difficult  to identify Bella's sleeping patterns. There were times that she woke up at around 5or 6 in the morning but most of the time she's up by around 7AM. I am somehow grateful that she seldom "disturbs" us with his sleeping  habits. But this "seldom" happened just a few days ago wherein she was fully awake at 3AM.

Bella's favorite subject during her waking hours is her Tatay Bren, who wants to be called Tachu.  Whenever Tachu is around her or near her she  got so  excited because she rarely see him during day time because he is at work. So even if Tachu is still sleepy he always spend time with Bella even at 3AM. Lol...

Planning for Bella's First Birthday

Our little bundle of joy will turn one next month. As a mom I can't help but get excited thinking of her big day. It is indeed a milestone for every baby to reach and celebrate his/her very first birthday. At first I am very hesitant to give Bella a "big" party but my friend Raine encouraged me to at least have a little  party for Bella. 

Since I am already decided to celebrate Bella's first birthday party, yesterday I started looking for a party place. I went to a restaurant near SM Davao but I am still considering to look for other places since I still have enough time to plan and decide.

Planning for your babies first birthday party is somehow a challenging task. You need to consider a lot of things especially the budget, the food, the theme, the venue, etc. I am the type of person who do not want to spend much on birthday parties but when it comes to Bella, you know it is already a different story. 

As of the moment, I am still working on a lot of things and nothing is final yet. I hope and pray that our resources will permit us to celebrate Bella's first birthday next month. Your suggestions on the theme, budget, food, venue, program for Bella's birthday will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
